The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) issued a directive ordering all e-wallets, banks, and other supervised entities to remove links providing in-app gambling access from their payment apps and websites. The suspension will remain in place until the BSP finalizes the policy on online gambling payment services, and gambling transactions are barred by Grab unless permitted by Grab. GrabPay casinos rarely appear on PAGCOR's list of permitted online casinos in the Philippines.
