Where to bet on rugby sevens in the Philippines

Why points come faster

Sevens scores are comparable to regular rugby, but occur more frequently since defenders are more spread out on a standard field. A rugby sevens match is substantially shorter than traditional rugby, allowing for tournaments that wrap up in a day or weekend. Three players per team participate in a scrum instead of eight.

Extra time, cards and kicks

After regulation, if scores are level, a "golden point" extra time period of five minutes is played. Yellow cards suspend the offender for two minutes, versus 10 in regular rugby. Conversions must be kicked within 30 seconds of a try.

Who wins

The competition grew in 2023, when World Rugby rebranded the Sevens series to a new World Rugby SVNS Series, known as the HSBC SVNS for sponsorship reasons. New Zealand leads with 13 World Series titles, with Fiji winning two and New Zealand winning three World Cups.
